Six WDR Electric Steam Generators Under Group Control for a Beverage Plant in Tibet

Beverage plants at high altitude face special operating conditions and production loads that change a lot. With a single large boiler, one fault can stop the entire line.

This local beverage producer chose six 250 kg/h WDR electric steam generators with a dedicated group-control cabinet, building a centralised steam supply that is both flexible and secure.

The key feature is that the system works in both linked and stand-alone modes. The master cabinet coordinates all six units and decides how many run according to actual steam demand: all six in the peak season, only some in quieter periods, so no large unit idles at low load and wastes energy.

Each generator also has its own complete control system and can run without the master cabinet. A faulty unit can be isolated and serviced while the others keep supplying steam — so sterilisation, ingredient mixing and tank disinfection never have to stop.

Steam from the WDR generators is clean and free of impurities, meeting the hygiene standards of food and beverage production. Electric heating needs no fuel storage and produces no combustion products — right for a high-altitude site with strict environmental rules.

We adapt units for special power supplies and high altitude, and every unit is tested before leaving the works. On arrival, the modules only need power and water connections to start.
