An Economical Heat Source: a 4 t/h Biomass Steam Boiler System for South Sudan

In short

A daily-chemicals factory in South Sudan needed affordable, dependable steam. We supplied a 4 t/h biomass steam boiler that burns locally available solid fuel, with water treatment, feed pumps and a steam header — packaged and tested before export.

01High energy costs, few reliable heat sources

Household-products manufacturing in Africa is growing steadily, but many plants struggle with high energy costs and a lack of dependable heat. For this factory in South Sudan we designed a complete 4 t/h biomass steam boiler system around the site’s conditions.

02Burning local fuel to cut operating costs

The combustion system is optimised for a wide range of fuels and burns the biomass that is easy to obtain locally. Compared with oil or gas, this significantly lowers the plant’s operating costs.

The boiler delivers steady saturated steam for heating raw materials, drying and sterilisation — the core processes of daily-chemicals production — with little pressure fluctuation.

03The auxiliaries that keep it running

A steam header distributes steam to several lines, so different workstations can draw heat at the same time. The water treatment system purifies the feed water, protects the boiler and reduces failures under local water conditions.

The whole system was integrated as modules, assembled and commissioned in China and exported complete — reducing work on site and shortening the time to production.

04One supplier from design to support

The boiler carries multiple safety devices, runs steadily, fails rarely and is easy to operate — a good match for overseas plants with small maintenance teams. Drawing on extensive experience in Africa, we adapt each package to the fuel, water and regulations of the country, and provide the certification needed for local approval.
